Amy Diaz is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor offering individual therapy for adolescents, emerging adults, and adults in Grayslake, Illinois and virtually across Illinois.
She provides a warm, grounded space to work through anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the more complex experiences that aren’t always easy to name.
Amy uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected.
Her work also integrates mindfulness and radical acceptance, supporting clients in building insight, shifting patterns, and moving toward meaningful change.

Amy has over 13 years of experience across residential, community mental health, hospital, and correctional settings.
She identifies as Mexican-American and provides culturally responsive, identity-affirming care. She is LGBTQIA2S+ affirming, sex-worker positive, and kink/poly aware.
Amy is currently training to become a Certified Sex Therapist.
